AIESEC, besides other things, organizes a number of events throughout the year, trying to share its impact with non-AIESECers and the community in general.

August 11th will see AIESEC hosting one of its largest leadership development programmes called Empower, a day-long event targeting college students and 12th standard students, with the theme ?Globalization and Changing World Dynamics?.

The twist is that it doesn?t consist of a series of talks or lectures; instead students will be run through a number of simulations, games and activities on issues like finance, culture, tourism and national resources, all of which will be conducted by professionals from the various fields, culminating in a mock-UN session.

The entire event will be kickstarted by Mr.

Karti Chidambaram, MD of Chess Management Services, who will provide his perspective on the entire day?s activities.
